Hi guys... There are a VERY small number of cameras still available. The online form still works. Some people have had trouble accessing the order form using old phones or tablets. If you can't access it on your phone, please try using a desktop computer with a recent Chrome, Firefox, Safari or (shudder) IE.
You must enter your full name in the first field, and your full address, including email address. If you leave out any of the information, you cannot continue. If you still have trouble, send us an email!
Ben- do you have a shipping date yet for the KS pledges?
Thanks!
Ben, I was wondering (if it's not privileged information);
Since the first preorder is almost sold out, how big a batch of Travelwides have to be run at Xcentric to be economically viable. I assume every time a batch of parts is run there is a minimum set up charge so running a larger number of parts can be a lot cheaper than running a small batch. Although I'm a backer I might want to order a seperate body module later for a 90 or a 65 or as a basis for a home project.
Thanks for all your's and Justin's hard work.
Well,
Couldn't take the chance to miss my Travelwide (while living in Europe) so i asked a friend in Canada and "i'm on the list" now
It's not very fair for all "non US-Canada" residents that will miss the first batch, but, that's life...
I think the smallest run we could do is 500 units. We get a small volume discount at 1000. Our priority right now is to ship the first batch of 1500, but once that is completely done, we'll open up one final preorder for the second batch. The second batch will have enough "extras" that we can wholesale them to retailers in Europe and Asia, so people finally stop bugging us about international shipping.
