Nice image!
We have our own "Wall" up here in Humboldt County (on the Tour of the Unknown Coast -- considered one of the toughest centuries in CA) -- your image reminds me that I need to get the camera there one of these days!

Nice image Peter! I bet that view would also look good in color and IR.

davidbogdan witch 6x17 are you shooting? I drive my Kensington about once a week to Detroit.
Thanks Vaughn and Thomas! I appreciate your kind words.
I've been on the Tour of the Unknown Coast Vaughn. It was back in the mid 90's. I was too wimpy to do the century back then (implying that I'm stronger now... NOT!). On a different trip up to Humbolt Co. I drove over the King Range road that the tour follows and I was glad I didn't try to ride over it.

I have thought about it...that's as far as I have gone with it. I should have entered in 1988, after I spent 5 months bike-touring with my 4x5 in New Zealand. After the mountains there and having 80 pounds of gear on the bike, The Tour would have been very doable! Now, the 9 miles to work is plenty (but too much rain and wind today -- I wimped out and drove)!
A Dayi 617 was used. I sold the camera lens combo to a gentleman in Poland in favor of a 612 back for the 4x5. I now shoot 4x5/612 and 24MP digital. The 617 was a brick to carry. I would often walk as many as 15+ miles in a given day dragging all three systems with me.Well after a long haul of a day at Pictured Rocks, I finally decided that I needed to lighten up a bit. I didn't want to give up on anything so I decided to slap a back on my 4x5 utilizing my existing lenses and stick with the whole program, less a frame and just a bit of a compromise. My 58xl with the 612 isn't to far off.....I do like it wide!!
135mm apo-sironar-s on Fuji Pro 160 NS.
Thanks a lot Martin!!
