Up-date on my print sales.
We had our "artists of the area" Studio Open house at the beginning of Nov. I had about 400 people through the studio which I was happy with. I sold one print then and had a follow-up sale of a second print. (Same shot actually) Although the sales were slow I was thrilled with the weekend and have plans to expand it next year.

Later in the month I had work hanging at the Art Gallery of Hamilton. It's a pretty major public gallery in the area. I had two sales of 16x20's ($600 each) at the show.
The gallery said they were happy with the interest and I was happy with the sales.

Un-related to selling art prints, I've found the photography business to be very busy the past 18 months and don't expect to see a drop till after June. I work most days from 9am till about 10pm and only took about 5 days off this past year. I have two part-time assistants who never get caught up.

So over-all it's been a good year... but I don't live off print sales only.

I hope the rest of you are busy as well.
