Ditto.
Hmm, hope Freso, CA doesn't adopt this naming convention. :)
Perhaps as the sign suggests, you have "been born again. " ;)
Very intriguing. Might give this a try, thanks for posting the link.
Oops, a bit late, but love the power perspective. Nicely done.
Welcome. Load up and head for Hocking Hills. You won't be disappointed and this is from and Ann Arbor, MI resident. :)
I have two soft spots. One is waterfalls and the other is seemingly abandoned homesteads and farms. How did it happen? What drew the residents initially, what lead to the demise??? I'm sure there...
Hmm, looks like a selfie pole to me. :)
... :)
As would I.
Congratulations! Now implement additional security on your wallet, etc. :) Look forward to seeing the picture.
Add me to the like list. It has an American Gothic look about it. Very nice!
Ditto, a pox on whomever brought them here! It's getting colder now and they will invade any structure they can in an attempt to stay warm.

Been there, done that. :o
Really like the lighting. Nice work.
It sure is! I really like it. Good eye.
Lucky you and nice shot.

No sure I get this??
Interesting. Also seems like good Jeopardy material. :)
Though the circumstances are not good for those living in the west, it would seem to be an interesting opportunity. I wonder if there are other sites within the Lake Mead site that might be revealed...
They would have to shut down intakes to avoid saltwater intrusion. It's a major source of drinking water for SoCal so more than just farming is affected.
Very nice! Probably someplace I will never get to. Number 3 really does it for me!
Very nice. Like it a lot!
P.S. Captures most of the zones. :)
I like all three! If I had to choose, it would be a tough call between #1 and #3, very nice composition and exposure.
Sounds like you might prefer a repeat of 1862.
I believe the quote suggests just that. On the other hand, I suspect most other California residents will take what they can get.
They are predicting a strengthening El Nino.
"This winter's El Niņo could be one of the strongest in the past 50 years, leading to a return of meaningful but not necessarily drought-busting rain...
Dennis, right on all counts, nice shot, well seen. Makes it a well seen scene. Sorry, couldn't resist. :)
