Any chance of seeing the PDF too?
Thanks.
I bought TK 45 standard bellows from Rudy on eBay. I bought the frames from him, too, at the same time, and he attached them free of charge.
I like the idea and considered backing it, but was wondering about the evenness of development. Any chance of posting an update to show several examples of processed film?
On my iPhone, it doesn't work. Will try tomorrow on my computers at home.
Thanks. It's a one-off really. Trouble with ordering some Dixactol, the shipping alone would be close to $50.
I just wanted to see if I could use 200ml of DD-X instead of 400ml.
Hi,
Is it possible to develop these two films together in the same Paterson tank (using a Mod54)?
From the Massive Dev Chart:
HP5+ in Ilfotec DD-X
1+4 400 9 20C
Delta 100 Pro in...
Thanks.
Thanks Tim,
That's a good resource. I haven't seen that page before. How did you get there from here: http://www.thalmann.com/largeformat/?
I found this at B&H:
Overall Length 45mm (1.77")
Thanks, useful, but no mention of the length though.
Hi,
Does anyone know the length of the Fujinon C 300mm, please?
Is there any resource that includes lens length as well IC, shutter size, aperture range, etc?
Thanks.
Ok about the glass, understood, thanks.
Anyone know where to buy marbles outside the U.S.?
Thanks Mick,
Where do you get the marbles from?
I haven't seen any since I was at school.
I'm going to prepare some ID11 (1L) for developing some sheets of HP5+ tomorrow.
As I've got more than six sheets (the MOD54 in the 1L Paterson tank only holds six sheets) to develop, I'm thinking...
I suggest getting some black bags (B&H sells them) to put your used film in till you get some boxes. It's what I do. I just double bag (one black bag inside the other) the exposed sheets.
Thanks. They don't seem to do LFN.
Does anyone know where you can buy Edwal LFN in the UK?
Thanks.
Thanks. I had a look at FilmDev as well. Do you know if the 35mm recipes hold up for 4x5, too?
Hi,
Does anyone have any advice on developing Fomapan 100 in a Mod54, please? Some sample shots would be great.
Thanks.
Thanks for all the advice.
I was reading this PDF from Ilford: http://www.ilfordphoto.com/Webfiles/200629163442455.pdf
For example, on page 2 under Process Summary, it says ILFORD ILFOTEC DD–X...
About the getting the temperature right, I got some ideas from http://photo.net/black-and-white-photo-film-processing-forum/00aoAM
I plan to start with the ID11 and plan to shoot duplicates. Am thinking to try the Adonal later.
Point taken about developing one at a time, but the thing is that's going to be quite wasteful on...
In a few weeks, I'm going to try my hand at developing some HP5+ with a Mod54 in a Paterson tank.
I'll be using Ilford ID11 Black & White Powder Film Developer, Ilford 1905162 Ilfotol Netzm,...
So I bought an off-centre lens board for the 150mm. What I found is that although you apparently gain in front rise, which is proportional to the amount by which the hole is off centred, what you see...
Thanks Stone. Thanks for posting the pictures and info.
Guitar plectrum to lift film out of the holder. I bought the thinnest type. Someone mentioned using them on this forum I think, but I can't find the post.
I thought everyone might like to know that the latest Film Photography Project podcast is about making Ilford film:
...
It'll be Ilford B&W HP5+ first, Keith.
Thanks for the localdarkroom.com link Randy.
And thanks all for the Peak Imaging recommendations.
Hi,
Can anyone recommend any photo labs you can post 4x5 sheet film to for processing and return in the UK?
Thanks.
Was thinking, it might seem obvious to a LF photographer, to someone who's done their research, but not to everyone. After all, it's okay to open a box with a 35mm film cartridge inside...
I read a user review of 100 sheet boxes on the B&H website about the pouches, and being able to open the box and transfer them to other boxes, so you don't need to carry 100 sheets around. Wasn't...
Apparently the film is inside a plastic bag inside the box, which I'll have to cut open. Sounds like different packaging to the double box nested packaging.
Is the HP5+box (25 sheets) double boxed so to speak? Or do the film sheets just sit inside wrappers inside the main box? I haven't felt inside yet.
Someone I know opened a new box of Ilford HP5+ ISO 400 4x5 sheets that arrived in the post for me. I should have said not to open the box, but they did. They cut the tab and looked inside.
Should...
That would make sense, but I also checked the amount of rise with a Fuji 125mm f5.6. It has a 52mm thread so should have an IC of 198mm. http://www.subclub.org/fujinon/byfl.htm
If using the Fig. 2...
For an image circle of 224mm, the equation in Fig. 2 on this Photo.net page gives 41.5mm rise
http://photo.net/large-format-photography-forum/00aMke?start=10
Using paper, pencil and a compass,...
The lens has a 52mm filter thread, and it says Fujinon W 1:5.6/150 on the outside of the barrel, so the IC should be 224mm.
Yeah, I don't know what's going on. I'll just use it. Maybe I'll figure out what's going on some time later.
I checked at both f5.6 and f22. There wasn't much difference. In fact when I stopped down and checked on the ground glass, it was 34mm, but that could be because I was a bit stricter about what...
