    An image of my girlfriend studying for her exam ... She is so used to me taking pictures of her and around her, that she barely notices anymore. The scan isn't of the very best quality.

    Thanks so much for the kind words, Garrett! I do lean towards the more conservative use of my lenses for portraiture. So I most often use the softness at the edges of the image circle to keep the viewers' attention on the subject, and I stop the lens down enough to keep important elements in focus. If the DoF is too shallow, or the swirling is too great, I find it can overwhelm the subject--and the optical distortion effect effectively becomes the subject.

    8x10 Arista (i got incredibly bad batch last time.. its full of white dots..(() , cropped, 300/500 convertible Symmar, some lights

    This is one of my photographer friends intern's and she wanted to try a view cam, I took this of her in between her shots.
