Don't worry Marvin, these old toys have a soul of their own made of the souvenirs they gave to the children we still are somewhere deep inside.
A portrait isn't only about the person beeing photographed it also deals with the photographer and his feelings towards his subject,and the emotions it creates for the viewers.
This photo carries a lot from you and mooves me too, therefore , to me, this photo really IS a portrait ! And a nice one by the way !
This summer by the mediterranean seaside, I couldn't leave my Sinar F2 at home so I took it (her) with me and started to make some portraits in the street.
