Thicktheo I really like the colour in your image!
Tobias - I was born in Chi! Was that picture taken locally? I love the model's clothing and feather fascinator (if that is the correct term for her headpiece) - vintage styling is everywhere in Manchester and it makes for some interesting people watching I feel!
lol
Cool shot K. P. I am a fan of "environmental" portraits. What lens did you use?
Shot last night on Kodak Low Contrast Aerial Duplicating Film that expired in 1984. Cut down from a 400 foot roll that is 6 1/2 inches wide, so this image is roughly 6.5 x 9 inches. Developed in HC-110 dil. D in a Cibachrome drum on a rotating motor base for 5 minutes at 70F degrees.
Kodak 2D 8x10
10" A.T. Thompson magic lantern Petzval (approx. f/4.5)
4 second exposure

Jay,
Thanks. I am just starting to experiment with this film. I have a huge roll of it, so I can afford to blow through it unlike regular LF sheets. The tones are decent for being 30 years expired. I wish I had used a reflector to bring out a tad more of the dark side of the face, but I was pleased with the result in general.
The film is apparently mostly blue sensitive because I got more of an orthochromatic look than I was expecting: darker skin tones and more blemishes. The ISO comes to around 1.5.
