That's absolutely hilarious, Mark.

If you believe you can, or you believe you can't... you're right.
Ok. I'll be the contrarian. I think this is stupid. It's like a thread for 14 year old girls.
If you believe you can, or you believe you can't... you're right.
I can see that these may not be to everyone's taste. Personally, I appreciate the whimsy and obvious skill. Compared to some of the photographs in this series, the latest is on the broadside humour end of the range, but many of these photographs strike me as quite subtle.
I like the photographs of Paolo Ventura, and Mark's photographs, while the sets are less elaborate and the intent more whimsical, draw me. If you aren't familiar with Ventura, here is a video on his work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOpOJ3LdvzE And here is his web site: http://www.paoloventura.com/
When I lived in Paris, i worked near a park where there is an outdoor puppet theater. From time to time, I photographed that theater and the adults and children who went to it, and for some time I've been toying with the idea of doing a photographic series based on miniature sets. Mark's photographs, like the puppet theater, make me smile.
