It's really a masterpiece.

Forgive me, I had to explore this variation: just softening the facial blemishes and adding a frame.

Thanks Ken, I agree, a frame is something that I added to my version, but I just posted the straight image.
And to the blemishes, yes. I believe that the finished print will reflect that. I tend to immediately Photoshop these things away without a second thought. But as I was about to do that, I hesitated, then I let it go.. trying to keep as much "in camera" craft as possible.

Indeed! This was posted in early May, but 22 days into the month, this one is still my favorite.
I've enjoyed these monthly portrait threads, catching up every few days to see what new posts have been made. My daughter (after my filtering) and fiancee have even taken interest. It's been a fun family activity we do every few weeks. My thanks to all who post. These almost make me feel guilty for not having a scanner and submitting my own.
