Cool, let’s see some photos once you get the door installed.

I might add that I was also able to get 9 mint 4x5 Rightway film holders for 10 dollars each. Friend of the owners of the store I got the door from passed away and they wanted them to go to good home.

Worked with these for 25 years on the back of motion picture processing machines. Very useful if you have the room to install.

I got the room. It is for my purpose built darkroom. Just have to take apart and lift over my desk in the front "office" to put in opening. Good thing I got 10 foot ceilings!

I have never installed one, but did take one out. Get some good help. They are not particularly heavy but very cumbersome.

Mine took two full days to install (years ago). When it was removed, it was mishandled and was "bent" up a bit and totally out of alignment. But in the end it was totally worth it.

One of my clients had a darkroom/ studio space in the old Ives uptown Charlotte, NC store and that darkroom had a nice revolving door, however, I found it a bit unnerving because your focused on developing or printmaking and, silently, somebody else is in the room.

I suggest new owners install a set of sleigh beers be installed to give you a warning.

Nothing would suck more than a darkroom session that finds a home invader suddenly standing there.

    IMO
