I'll suggest that any such test should include some blue sky- I think that one of the significant questions with ortho film is how the skies are rendered. My own test from long ago showed that with TXP-320 (which was my film of choice then) a #44A filter did not quite blow out a clear north sky. I didn't bother to try an ortho film then (and there were more of them in 1999) and I've never digitized the results, so you'll have to take my word for it.
I'm aware that blue skies can be rare in the North Pacific this time of year- but they will return. Too bad I can't send any of ours up north!
