Should we list SF we got for free?
Tin Can
It was a rhetorical question
and I already posted about them elsewhere here
maybe they weren't free as I bought a lot of glass from my source
Some people just want to get old lenses back in use
and I don't trust eBay sales one bit, lots of shills at work

Little more soft focus lenses

I got a Cooke Series II f4.5 10.5" along with a Voigtlander 11.5" f3.5 in an estate sale for $198 for the pair. The insanely low price was due to them both being incredibly dusty and looking battered. The Voigtlander is in excellent condition given the age (ca. 1862-3). The Cooke, well, not so much- it has seen a rough life. But after cleaning and having the iris serviced, it is fully functional and making some excellent images.
My impression is that supply is still low, but demand is slowly going up!
