Thanks.
I'm still using the original Agfa Rodinal. I got my starting time from the link on Freestylephoto.biz where I purchased the film. But I rounded my EI down to ISO 50. I'm also using the agitation profile per the instructions from my bottle of Rodinal; namely, for 68°F, small tanks, "[agitate] continuously for first minute and tilt every 30 seconds". I use a very gentle inversion with Rodinal.
I want to use it at 1+100 next to get more milage out of my remaining Rodinal. Those two shots posted were metered. I went outside and did a Sunny 16 rule exposure and the shadows were pretty deep. I don't place them that low when I use a one-degree.
From the chart:
R09 one shot/Agfa Rodinal, 1+50, 14 min
My work takes me up and down a section of Route-1 in midcoast Maine a couple times a week. This was before the trees leafed out just after the snow was gone. I notice the shapes of the bare branches where the hardwood mixes with the big softwood. The bright branches stuck out from the dark woods. Next time through, I pulled over and walked along the edge of the road and shot a couple of rolls. Separation of woods foreground by tone (brightness and spectral response) is most easy, but texture, shapes, focus/bokeh, all work together to some extent.

Wisner 4x5 TMAX100
Exposure f45 10 seconds
(metered exposure was f45 1.5 sec. I added 2 stops to get into zone 7 plus 2/3rds stop for bellows factor
Developed for 7 sec at 19 deg which was -15%
Scanned using Epson V850 and cleaned up in PScc
My plan is to take the same picture today on 8x10 and make a contact print...........
All in all very happy with the outcome

Superb, Jason.
I'm finally developing some film from a trip to New Mexico in February, which resulted in a herniated disk in my back and surgery at the end of March. These were with the Hasselblad 50mm and Acros in Pyrocat HD.
