I've been really enjoying all the images posted recently here.
I took my Shen-Hao 617 to Mississippi this past weekend and shot several rolls. Here's a Lik-esque (minus the color) scene from the beach with some roiling waves, taken with my Nikkor 90mm f/8 on Plus-X:
That image works extremely well as a panoramic, Corran.
Nope, Corran. Lik would have never bagged the subtle offset between the waves left verus right, nor the the lovely zigag on the walkway. You timed it beautifully.
Thanks OnF, and Drew. I had to wait for over 30 minutes for the sun to peak out and give a glimmer of light. It was raining lightly so I put my lens cap on, and so the first time the sun came out I of course shot a wonderful image of my lens cap, and then the sun was gone for awhile again. It was coming out for only 1-2 seconds at a time, through holes in the cloud cover.
Lachlan - wicked cool shot with the impending weather!
Thanks, Bryan. Means a lot coming from you!
Lachlan.

Lachlan, I want that image on my wall in 24x60 inch size. Yours too, Corran.
I keep coming back to that image Lachlan. Love the composition, with the diagonal lines hitting the corners of the frame. Would love to see it larger.
Out of curiosity, are you enlarging your 6x17 work? I don't have a large enough enlarger, but I'm working on it. I have all the parts to build an 8x10 enlarger, just don't have time, and I'm moving next year and might have to give up on it for now as I can't bring the large 5x7 enlarger carcass I was planning on using. May even have to dump my 4x5 darkroom stuff temporarily.
O-n-F, I've got some 24"-wide (inkjet) paper left over from my last show...
Great to see a lot of love being shown to 617
