As usual I struggled a bit with the color balancing, but it's pretty close to how it looks with the naked eye. A little warmer perhaps, and yeah, a bit more saturated, too.

Really nice, indeed, beautiful colour, oof rendition, and composition. And quite unusual to see colour from you.Is this chromatic aberration what's seen around the edges of the oranges?

Thanks a lot for the enlargement, Jonathan. Hmm, hard to tell but it doesn't show the colour fringes typical for chromatic aberration. I notice similar "halos" with my Petzvals in b/w sometimes and was curious because you are ahead of me - I haven't used them for colour, yet. But your nice example shows that it's very much worthwhile.

I don't know what I expected, but I was quite pleased with the color rendition from this lens. I realized just now that I made a mistake about these being my first Petzval color images: last year I shot an 8x10 color transparency of a glass vase with a much older uncoated Petzval and did not see any CA in that case, either.

Well, then the count is 2:0 now.I shoot very little analogue in colour in general but the few times I did with old lenses I was amazed about the quality. Your latest example obviously is in agreement with this. But of course, most of it is due to that you chose an excellent set up and used the nice oof rendition of your lens perfectly.
