Lovely photographs, Kirk. The center image (portal) speaks to me in particular. Amazing sense of space and distance.

Agreed, I like the second one best too. Looks very peaceful with the bright part right in the center of the sky.

Kirk I also really enjoy all three. I believe I've seen the first one before. I'd love to see that second one in person. How large did you print them?

Thomas, that's excellent! The small wisps of cloud just appearing behind the slopes of the fjord are both whimsical and beautiful.

Three superb images there, Kirk. The second - Portal - resonates strongly with me.

    Re: Large Format Landscapes

Thanks all for the kind words.

    Scott,
Kirk I also really enjoy all three. I believe I've seen the first one before. I'd love to see that second one in person. How large did you print them?
Yes I posted an unfinished version of the first one before. I prefer not to print too large, 11x14 or 16x20 usually.

Deval, Phillips 4x5, images 1&2 with a Nikkor 120 SW. 3 with a 210 Symmar S, All with B&W orange filter, Ilford FP4+ in Pyrocat HD.
    Thanks,
    Kirk

Dramatic and striking images, Kirk; masterful work.
My preference leans toward the first image, but I can appreciate the comments made by others on the other two images as well.
