I have traveled through the area but long before I was LF'ing. I want to go back and hit those spots I where could not spend much time. Got run out of Dead Horse Point by rain which chased me south all the way to Tucson before turning back east.

If you have the time, I vote for the scenic route from Georgia. It's a hassle to fly with large format IMO. If you drive you can load the car with as much crap as you want and you might find some nice stuff to photograph along the way to your destination. As you're aware, this whole area is full of potential, you may find yourself in Nowhereville, NM and not want to go any further for photo opportunities... If you need any information with areas I'm familiar with, I'd be happy to help.
I don't think that would support my habit.........err hobby.
Thanks for the offer. :8

Deval, those colors are just luscious.
Jon, those are both excellent. I like the last one very much. The sharpness and detail are to be envied.....at least by me. Red filter?

My tripod was quite a ways above the water's edge, so I've opted instead for the landscapes thread to house this one. Brutally honest critiques welcome.
Nancy thanks. Took it a few minutes after sunset. I have been really happy with ektar after learning how to tame it with respects to developing and scanning.
