First image with the FP100C and the Chamonix 4x5. I bleached the negative and scanned that instead of the positive. I think the chemical was not thoroughly dry :-/ hence the defects, but the defects add charm, at least that's my story.

A bit of paper negative selfie portraiture. Pre-flashed Arista grade 2 RC paper exposed in Speed Graphic with Fujinon 135-5.6 lens. 2 second exposure under sky light with a bit of soft fluorescent fill-in (using an old slide viewing box as a soft box).
How I managed focus is another story entirely: a modified wooden yard stick mounted to an auxiliary ball-head tripod within arm's reach. Center grommet hole in end of stick where my eyes will be, then focus camera on grommet hole. Cock shutter, insert film holder, pull dark slide, get seated with end of yard stick on my face, then reach out with right hand, squeeze grip on ball head and swing yard stick out of the shot while not moving head. Then trip shutter with 3-foot-long release cable.
