If you believe you can, or you believe you can't... you're right.

This is the famous lake where there have been 5 or 6 documented Bigfoot sightings.. This is known as Lost Lake or Prather Lake which serves as drinking water for the town of Prather Indiana .. This lake is a difficult long hike which most ppl won't hazzard. I've camped here and I know first hand the erie feeling this place evokes. While I was there there happened to be what sounded like timed tree knocks and a sudden brisk smell of sulphur. Right now there is a fire trail that is open a few months a year that takes you back within a half mile of reaching the lake..
Maybe If your in my area and would like to venture down there just give me a shout.

Steve, interesting story and nice shot.
Thursday I spent all day "cruising for snaps" with my photographic mentor, and his mentor, a quite well-respected art photographer. It was quite fun and a great experience.
It was the middle of a hot, muggy day, but I grabbed a couple of shots despite less-than-ideal lighting:
Nikkor-M 300mm f/9, T-Max 100, Rodinal semi-stand:
Schneider APO 150mm f/5.6, T-Max 100, Rodinal semi-stand:
Corran, thank you ! I like those tones

Tachihara Field Camera, 200mm Nikkor M

Beautiful color in the water, great light as well.
That is exactly why I bought my 6x17, I hated trees even more though. With a bit of wind none of the branches would line up.
