A really niceimage. Attractive girl in a very good pose. The angle of the body adds interest.
A lovely model, and the lighting is very flattering (natural light with two windows?). Skin tones are beautiful. Well done, David!

There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!
Ed, a lot of your pictures feature vintage, or at least vintage-looking, wardrobe that really brings a lot of texture to the image (by which I mean much more than the literal texture of the fabric itself). Are your models providing the wardrobe, or do you maintain your own stash? If it's the latter, I'd be interested to hear how you've gone about building it up. Either you've got a woman helping you pick the pieces, or you've got an uncommonly good eye for a person with outside plumbing.
(It is not lost on me that asking about the clothes in a nudes thread has a decided "I read it for the articles" ring to it.)

Hello. I'd say it is a combination of mine and theirs. I pick up vintage stuff when I think it could be cool in a shoot (and doesn't break the bank). I like visiting off-beat shops, usually when I'm traveling. The tophat I got in Australia, the bowler in Vienna, a fur hat in the Carpathians, chaps in Reno, the Harlequin hat and collar (not vintage) in SF (that wasn't travel), neckless in Tunis, etc. The M1 Carbine is mine, thanks to my dad. But most of the stuff I pick up is limited to hats and off-beat accoutrements. The models usually bring a bag of stuff, lingerie and "close-fit" stuff like corsets or stockings. When we did the Harlequin shoot I suggested that we do a follow-up Pierrot shoot, and the model found a wonderful seamstress to make us the outfit (for free!, though I didn't get to keep it). I'm always looking for new concepts; shooting is always on my mind. And, no, no woman is helping me -- so thanks. And I'm not metro-sexual, for the record![]()
