Saw this as part of my West trip and was very impressed. A nice selection of photographs and mostly vintage (typically mid 30s) prints. There is an accompanying book that is very good. I guess Evans impressed me the most but all 3 hit the mark with several of their photographs. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seemed that Evans had the sharpest lens(es) (not that it matters at all in this context, just an observation) and all 3 had glorious paper to work with. Merg or anyone else, can you hazzard a guess as to what the papers may have been at that time? I am again jealous and disheartened with our current paper situation... Anyway, if you are near Chicago, this is a fairly large, thoughtfully put together exhibit comparing 3 icons of documentary photography and well worth a visit!
