As far as development with the MOS54, I just never had an issue, but I mostly used Rodinal 1:50 a few times 1:25 or 1:100 semi stand... But the only other dev I used was DD-X and that was also even.

I had one incident of scratches on the back, the first time, because I was agitating too fast. Once I slowed down my inversion, any issues went away.

One very slow full inversion every minute... Slow like, it takes 10 seconds to fully complete the inversion.

I used FP4+ in XTOL at 20 degrees, which causes rather short dev times which I think must be the problem. It could be that a pre-soak would help as well with the short developing times?
