When you click on a user's name in a thread, you can add them to your buddy list from there. Why can't you add them to your ignore list from there? That would be much quicker and easier than going to your settings and having to type in the name.

Since we are getting ready to upgrade the software shortly, why not wait on this till the new software is in place and see how it is set up then?

It says u can add them to either the buddy or ignore list from the "view public info"
