f/stop timer for ios?

do you know an app that can realize f stop timing?
i just found an app for android but none for ios.

Edit: I just looked at the forum you posted in, and I now assume you mean some sort (f/stop) enlarger timer... please disregard my previous post if you saw it.

I found that "talking timers" for ios are pretty limited, especially ones that allow you to turn the screen off. For use as a development timer, I put my phone into airplane mode and turn off wifi (no calls or annoyances to light up the screen), play a recording where I read the time at set intervals, and turn off the screen. If you're asking about a simple timer for seconds, that seems like the simplest way to go. Aside from that, it seems that true hardware f/stop enlargement timers can be had for relatively little.

So something like this would be the basis for such an app? This would be a fairly-straightforward app to develop. I am a software developer by trade, so give me a couple of days to dig up my ios development environment, and I will see if it would be conceivable to write some weekend. Worth a couple of bucks to you? What are your specific requirements?

Given that an ios app will not turn the enlarger on or off, small f/stop adjustments are going to require you to interact with the screen and flip the switch in conjunction with the timer start and stop with some precision, which doesn't seem completely ideal. That is, unless you feel like investing in something like a zSmart SmartCord, WeMo Switch, or some kind of IP-Controlled AC Power Switch, and at that price-point (>= $40), I'd probably feel better about investing in one of the more affordable f-stop timers currently on the market.

thx for your help....you are right... it will be not ideal if it not interacts with the enlarger. i think i will purchase such a real timer.

Doing an enlarger timer on a smartphone is IMHO a bad idea because the LCDs are not paper-safe; even when displaying "black" they will easily fog any B&W material. You should buy a timer from RH Designs or Darkroom Automation or build the one linked in my signature below - they all use only red LEDs in their displays.
