Barry, I have a Chamonix 5x8 - an incredible camera - it just takes seconds to cut 8x10 film into two equal pieces that fit the Chamonix holders perfectly - IMO a much better option than 5x7
AF-ULF, you should seek immediate medical/mental attention. There are a number of medical doctors/professionals on this forum that might render assistance.
Your lovely wife is a saint - please be...
I must be missing something - why a 5x8 body if you are using 13x18/5x7 holders????
Congratulations Joel. That is a really cool ride.
Jacky, my Provia 11x14 is the exact same size as my other 11x14 film - I would measure but away from my home.
Mattk, a beautiful young lady and lovely image. Please post more.
Scanning & Printing "dr5" Positive Efke 25
I am a HUGE fan of David Wood's "dr5 positive negative" process of Efke 25. The film is absolutely breathtaking on a light box. The resolution is just...
Sandy, do you consider pan heads to be superior to a B2 for 810 & 1114 bodies?
Thanks!
l2oBiN, I wash my hands first and than spash alcohol on both hands and let air dry. No sweat or oil to worry about. Never had a problem.
Frank, Freestyle/Efke require approx a $1,500 order for a special run - Kodak needs $15,000.
Kodak can go to Hades!
Frank, Canham already has a listing for group buys of Kodak film on his website. Jeff at Badger will duplicate the price.
FYI, a couple of weeks ago I had a difficult time finding enough buyers to...
FWIW, I scrub my hands with alcohol and let air dry before loading/unloading film in/from film holders - oil/dust/etc is a non issue.
Five buyers have paid for Efke 11x14 25 film to meet Freestyle's requirements.

Robert
I received a response from Freestyle today in reference to ordering Efke 25 11x14 as follows:
"There is a 250 sheet minimum to place this special order for this item. The film is in boxes of 25...
Is anybody successfully using a 300mm Fujinon A with an 11x14 body?
I tested my new teak Chamonix 11x14 yesterday with this lens and it appears to cover the corners on the GG.
Any...

Tracy, the light traps on Fidelity 11x14 "film holders" and "medical cassettes" are identical - the only difference is the name imprinted on the holders - I have both and they are perfect twins
take the back roads (and I mean back roads) through Louisiana to Jackson, MS - lots of old stores, gas stations, small churches, etc - a time warp and great material if that interests you - these...
For those interested, yesterday I asked Jeff at Badgfer to secure from Kodak a price and quantity required for 11x14 in 160NC and the new Ektar. I have a potential buyer in China for a good quantity...
Thanks Bob Solomon! I simply replaced the Chamonix GG with the Steve Hopf "boro" glass - no shims were involved. OK, now back to shooting!
Guys, I just replaced the GG on my 5x8 Chamonix and notice that the new "boro" GG is just a fraction thicker than the "stock" Chamonix GG. To my feeble mind it should not matter because focus is made...
Is anybody interested in participating in a "group purchase" of 11x14 TMax 100, Kodak E6 or C41 film from Jeff at Badger?
Jeff says that Kodak needs a $10K to $15K commitment before making a...
Jim, lovely photos and story. Thanks for posting!
Paul, please explain use of laminates. Would this be placing the print between sheets of plexiglass? I am assuming that the porous nature of this paper does not allow lamination, right??
Thanks!
PV, yes no glass & have spoken to Lenny.
I have many large LightJet prints in my home mounted on foam core which meets my needs perfectly. Is this possible with Lenny's paper/ink?
Thanks!
Forum members, can a B&W print on Hahnemuhle PhotoRag 308 be mounted on archival foam core successfully? Can the print (inks are Cone b&w Piezotone inks) be sprayed by a protective cover and still...
Welcome to the forum Juan! I also just received a new 5x8 convertible camera body & holders from Chamonix (via Tiejun in China - viewcamera-cn) and am extremely happy with the quality and service.
Kyle, your Sinar F is at least as good and probably superior to the light weight, flimsy and over priced Arcas. If your goal is to produce images, why not: (1) keep your Sinar; (2) buy additional...
Tim have you considered a 5x8 Chamonix? Will accept 57 or 58 holders - great aspect ratio - smaller & lighter than an 810 - greater choice of film than a standard 5x7
Good luck!
Where can I have 11x14 film scanned? Thanks!
All 10 holders sold - thanks everybody -
1) is anybody interested in a group purchse of TMax 100 in 11x14?
