In one further discovery/note to self, if you mask off the neg with rubylith when doing these, it's then impossible to tell which neg you are using if the marker pen note in the neg border is covered...
Many thanks indeed.
In a slight face-palm moment, I also now realise I used the wrong neg to do these with - I used the neg with the curve I built for Argyrotype for these: a very different beast...

Thank you for your comment. I have printed this out at A3+ and the colours look good to me. So I'm happy as is. Though I do have a set of warm-up filters I don't think I'd use these with Ektachrome...

Thanks! On the PS, Golaz has that investigated too. Other chemistry raises the pH too far/too fast allegedly. Still have to test properly.
Thank you!
A further few notes on this: I think this green tone is pretty wonderful. Here I'm following guidance from Annette Golaz' new Cyanotype Toning book.
What is apparent is that pH of the water used...
Film Leicas, I should add! Basically I have no space for a darkroom whatsoever (do all my developing in a tiny downstairs bathroom) so make the most of what I can achieve.
Now that this Argyotype print is completely dry, it has darkened just a tad more: the sky detail is a bit better, though at the slight expense of slightly over-dark foreground corners. I have a note...

That's correct: yes I use the Kyrstal Seal for the paper. I cut the cellophane envelope to size and remove two sides, so I can simply slide the paper inside easily. Using the Krystal Seal envelopes...

Thankyou!! It's a bit darker irl but that just means you have to get up close with it to absorb it.
Sucker for detail. Also enhancing the possibility of digital printing at some point if I have...
 Well I don't think that's gonna happen. But I do quite like the prospect (at least) of potentially doing 11x14 inkjet enlargements of 10x8 negs on OHP film now that (finally) I have an...

Many thanks. Now float-mounted and framed. Looks great, one of my top results with this process.
Thanks all. My assumption is that I didn't go for long enough with the particular neg, and that doing it by inspection would be very sensible: I can do that very easily with the SP810 trays. I'm...

No problem at all. Will hope to make more, inc. of actual flowers. This was a first attempt on large format with reversal development, and a stress-test of the printing process, since pretty small...

Yes that's right. But Rollright Stones (the large ones) have metal fencing around, and are a bit of a new age zoo with lots of visitors, so much less easy to photograph (even as slightly closer too...
Many thanks.
Good question! It's a megalithic standing stone - they usually form part of burial chambers or stone circles (e.g. the very famous Avebury and Stonehenge about 1hr / 1hr30mins south...
Yep, also shot this on Portra 160: may show one of those too!

Thanks, though I think I'd prefer more detailed critique of my photography than of my English usage.
Another one from me, from back in August. One of my faves of the year, thematizing 'stillness'. A large print of this is in the offing.
