Home process b&w film, with ONLY digital-free paper images
Trays are the best tank for me for b&w.
If a less perfect color film is all you need just develop it at the recommended temp as best as you can. If you can't maintain the temperature, you'll get less than perfect.
But maintaining it...
Bummer. Yer doing something wrong then!
There was a human on Filmwasters a few years ago who...well, here, https://filmwasters.com/forum/index.php?topic=8224.0
Apparently there is, since it has never happened to me. I keep my left hand fingers on the end of the rails so I can feel the film going under and prevent it from going over. If I have any doubt, I...
less than 1500. Who is asking. and why?
why do you ask? I spend less than 1500, but if I could justify it and find the money I would gladly spend a lot more.
I like it because dye-coupler sounds cool.
This. I've never had it happen in 40 years of LF.
Reports elsewhere are that quality has declined in the last couple years. I've had good luck in the past with their bargain items but haven't purchased in several years
also
Cibachrome= silver-dye bleach print. That's what I always used when I displayed mine
I've always liked RA4= dye coupler print, as Bob mentioned. Maybe I just like the word dye.
I'm no chemist nor will anyone mistake me for one, but I'm sure Photo Engineer weighed in on this at APUG at some point, and he was one. In a quick search I found only
The stop for B&W and RA4...
My brain was equating the rinse after developer with stop after developer. So what I meant to say is you don't need the stop after developer, unless you are experiencing problems or doing larger...
Are you asking about this because you are reusing or doing partial reuse? Because I don't think that will matter for the purpose of your question. And of course some people do partial reuse in drums...

I'm not sure when the Sierra Club became an expert on these things. I would certainly never seek them out for their opinion on how to behave around cougars, but I suppose to the unwashed masses they...
Don't much care what the Sierra Club says...I haven't worked with mt lions but have worked with other large mammals and in those same mountains for many years and can only say I disagree....
I have a dozen or so rigid 4x5 and probably 20 Midos, but only 2 8x10. Probably 2 dozen 5x7 that need more use.
Then your price was too high.
Heck it would be tough to find even in US cities with populations the size of Saipan's. You should be able to order online from one of the mentioned places, although shipping is a problem these days...
Says it right there.."Brooks fled...and it returned to Brooks and killed him". Never run from a cat. Or "flee" as the case may be.
They did everything right...except for what they did wrong. Like biking past the unseen lion (looking like running prey...joggers and bikers beware). And then the victim ran when the animal attacked...
Or Michael's
First of all, don't approach the damn kitty. Second of all, and most importantly, stand your ground and don't back away. Those 2 alone probably would have ended the encounter with 99.999% certainty....
That's it..keeeeeeeep backing away like you're prey and make wuffing sounds like a startled deer....just keep doing that....attaboy....
It would be a much less interesting world without photographic weirdness like Tin Type Trike
My mistake, thanks for clearing up that point.
How did you get dichromate in the UK? i thought it was banned, or is that just the mainland?
Edit: on 2nd thought, you don't need to tell me. What happens in LF stays in LF :p
Thanks. At least now I got what i paid for when I got from an old guy a few years ago and it had no sound. The same guy who took my Kalloflex TLR apart but was too old to figure out how to put it...
Very true. I haven't seen anyone trying to use it for testing, if they did they were certainly disappointed.
Since when are we practical?
HP5+, FP4+, Rodinal, HC-110, Ilford Rapid Fix, a lifetime supply of hypo and a box of white powders
Oh I didn't read the link, just the thread. Carry on, Extreme Minimal Agitators.
Uh, scuse me, EMA? Emergency Medical Assistance? Exposure Manipulation Association? Extended Manual Aperture?
I was wondering how much resistance the great length of ducting and each successive fan creates. Common sense says it would work fine but common sense is often wrong. You'd almost need an aerospace...

Kumar is selling a Wista bag bellows on Photrio, don't know if its still there or not or if its listed here too.
