I have had success with my Imacon scans. So far I've only used two images. Photomatix software has had no problem aligning the images to my delight (involved translating and rotating the images)....
Check this out. Here is perhaps a great solution and flexible to most terrain and biking considerations. Unfortunately it is PRICEY!! The idea needs serious cost reduction...

Kodak stock rose 11% on Thursday fueled on some sort of speculation. The Rochester news media mentioned rumors that Kodak might be selling it's Film business. A sad but possibly realistic possibility...
Somehow I missed the Fuji announcement that they are discontinuing their Quickloads. Now I am seriously bummed!!
Exactly! Kodak, as any manufacturer, will respond to the voice of it's customers in as much as what they hear is in harmony with the sound of it's revenue stream. Not a slam, just the unfortunate...
Maybe they could contract the packaging out to Fujifilm (yeah right!) as the Fuji Quickloads are fully compatible with the Kodak Single sheet Readyload film holder.

Too bad it won't be available in 4x5 Readyloads since they were discontinued.
If you would like to send Kodak a message to resurrect the Readyloads particularly for this new Ektar sheet film send an...
A not-insignificant amount of black paint has come off the inner lens housing underneath the lens. (back side of lens inside bellows). Will this affect my images? I realize that the black matte paint...
I have been using Kodak Readyloads with the Kodak single-sheet packet holder with very good results. When Kodak announced the termination of Readyload film I did some extensive research on the web...
Just curious. Do all the Chamonix cameras from 4x5 on up use the same Technika
style size lensboards?
thanks,

I am a Chamonix user as well. I fell in love with the design when I first set my sights
on it and find it a pleasure to use as well. I purchased mine with the universal bellows
after reading the...
Thanks for the link Bruce!
As I'm weaning myself off of Kodak Portra 160VC (ReadyLoad) I'm wondering which
Fuji QuickLoad to use? Pro 160S or Pro 160C? I shoot mostly landscapes. Any preferences or suggestions or comments?...
I ordered mine with a clear glass after reading a post
where somone complained of all the markings. My Deardorff camera
has a clear glass and that's what I'm used to. The glass is easily
replaced.
My 045N-1 arrived yesterday 08/08/08. How fitting! The camera is even more
beautifully crafted than I imagined it would be. This is my first "new" camera in over
25 yrs of shooting 4x5. I ordered...
John,
That reminds me of a corollary to Murphy's Law that goes like this...
"You can't make anything 'fool-proof' because fools are so ingenious!"
"Ever feel really STUPID???"
Yes as a matter of fact...many times but recently one that comes to mind...
I've been using a Gitzo Carbon Fiber G1228 tripod for years wondering from
time to time...
Something isn't right here. Maybe the volume of the business has declined but it should level out and still be profitable. If Kodak thinks their Readyload customers will switch back to conventional...
Thanks to everyone who responded. I'm trying to minimize my gear plus open options
for film to shoot. Certainly shooting either the ReadyLoads or QuickLoads reduces one's
film options to a degree...

Thanks guys. I suppose necessity is the mother of invention.
I vaguely remember my first view camera, an old Graflex, which was
stolen, having a folding reflex viewer which certainly would
pack...
I'm wondering with all the Deardorff cameras out there if anyone
has ever made a reflex viewer for these great cameras?
