I surely didn’t pay that. It was an eBay find.
Also it has a clear base.

There is indeed duplicating film that produces a positive when processed normally. I have a box of 8x10 dental duplicating film that I have only tested in the darkroom, but I can confirm that it...
Yes I scanned it on Canon flatbed. For me slightly more convenient than with my DSLR but I don’t expect too much difference in the results.

Here’s one of my latest. Not the best lighting but it was the end of the shoot.

Not only is LightBox a great place to visit and support, but the picturesque waterside town of Astoria is a worthy destination in itself.

Follow up: B&H says they don't expect to be restocked (current stock is 11), so I don't want to risk returning my order at this point. They offered a $15 per box discount because it is expired, which...
If you just bought any of this in 4x5 from B&H, check the expiration dates. I just received 6 boxes all with dates of 2021-5, and will be contacting them.
About the same price but you get a box that fits and no extra dust and hassle from cutting in half.

Blue Moon Camera and Machine just let me know that my 4x10" order has arrived. Well ahead of any other orders apparently, perhaps it was already in stock.
I find it fascinating that anyone else knows what arrangements my dealer has for receiving film. Is it possible that they will in fact be receiving some film themselves and that mine will be included...
Badger has a pretty good price which my local shop, Blue Moon Camera and Machine, matched on request. This is convenient for me (no shipping) and lets me support a local resource.

Blue Moon posted it on Facebook:Ilford ULF announcement
Michael, I see that participants are responsible for their own park entrance fees. Does the park require you to have a permit to conduct workshops there?

I managed 2 frames of TMax 400, which I then abused in Rodinal 1+100 for a couple of hours. Very sloppy timings but I can’t say I’m unhappy with the final results.

Good news. I saw these announced last month in Europe and I’m glad to see we’ll get them.
Vaughn, have you tried using the street address of your post office with your PO box number as the "Suite #"? That was a workaround we used in Skagway, Alaska.
Let us hope that they continue with the special order sale of unusual sizes for many years to come. At the moment, I would guess that to at least be delayed this year.
They have it listed on their website and it says ships in 24-48 hours. Is this maybe not true?

Jim, thanks for posting this.
Anybody here live there? I lived on SJI for about 6 years and I'll be making a photo trip up again in a couple of weeks.
Cheers,
Paul
I’ve been using this power supply in my UV box for the last several years. Works like a charm.

Although the PhotoArtMag link now goes somewhere else, you can still read this article archived here: http://www.thecunninghampress.com/interview-austin-granger. Cheers!
Thank you, nice to hear in a place of so many great images.

I've just recently had a chance to print this one, taken a couple years ago.
Palladium on Hahnemühle Platinum Rag, Ilford FP4+ 8x10, digital negative.

It’s matte, cotton rag and yes.

Peter have you printed a test chart at 720 and been able to resolve the details? For me, I find that 360 is the practical limit on transparency film and Hahnemuehle Platinum Rag paper. (QTR and Epson...
For platinum palladium, I print 16x16” and 16x20 on my Epson 3880.
I would look at the Toyo 45 CF.

There is still time before the show closes on November 2nd.
And to clarify a bit, it would be in the corners where you will first see any vignetting.
Here's an idea of what the show looks like. 29 prints in all.
It's really best to see them in person but you can view the digital versions at http://www.austingranger.com and find the prints at...
The question would be supersaturated at what temperature? Room temperature? Many use potassium oxalate significantly above room temperature. That said, I mix at 250g/l, warm to 90F, and develop for...
And also that QuadTone Rip (QTR) only supports Epson printers.
Everyone's a critic, but only you know what works for you. Some people prefer an all analog workflow, and I can't argue with that. But for me, a hybrid analog/digital workflow is ideal.
