I tested my SP-445 yesterday and got ridge marks from the film holders too. After scanning, they did not appear to show up, but still, scratches of any kind are not acceptable. I may try it again...

Thanks Scott, it was a Dallmeyer 3b wide open. Although it will cover 8x10 at portrait distances, shooting it on 6x8 allows a little distance, and uses more of the sharper sweet spot of the lens...

I would recommend the interfit kit. I am down to 4 second exposures with my dallmeyer 3b wide open using 2 SC655 heads using the octoboxes without the diffusers. They work very well.
