Hi Ralph,
Glad you were able to get it working. Love those undocumented features!
Happy processing!
Hi Ralph,
I did some checking and there is a trim pot on the ATL processor daughter board.
Its on the top left hand side just to the right of the 2 Rockwell VIA's ICs.
It looks like it connects to...
Hi Ralph,
As far as i know there is no difference between the lcds from a 2200, 2300....
The difference between the ATL 2x00 models is some hardware (extra bottles, A/B switch, pumps...), not in...
Hi Ralph,
I have one, happy to help with any questions you might have.
The best lab ive used for E-6 is LTI in NYC.
They process E-6, C-41 and B&W from 35mm-16x20+ on a Refrema D&D line.
Ive always had perfect results from them and they are great guys to work with.
Hi Bill,
My experience is with the Kodak FlexiColor to make 25 gallons, not the LORR. But the way you mix should be the same.
First i add up the amount of chemicals, A+B+C+Starter (for a tank...
Hi Guys,
I wanted to thank everyone for helping out with the order!
All boxes that were ordered shipped and delivered. International orders might still be in transit.
We do have 5 boxes left in...
LTI in NYC processes C-41, E-6 and B&W in D&D Refrema processors.
They can process films up to 16x20. They are great to work with and are a bunch of really nice guys.
Blotter books would most likely leave fibers and or an impression in the emulsion.
Squeegeeing the negative can really scratch it up. I tried that early on with 35mm and that was a bad experience....
Hi Guys,
Great news, the last batch of film is on the way!
We should them by Friday afternoon. All orders that have been placed but not sent should ship out Monday.
If anyone would like some, we...
I have run control strips for C-41 and E-6 and they fall within the process tolerances, are repeatable and within the densitometer (Xrite 811) error rate.
They have been consistent from batch to...
E6 and C41 is really easy in a Jobo. I use a jobo atl 2300 and Kodak Flexicolor chemistry.
C41 is a bit more forgiving then E6. You can correct for minor errors in printing or scanning.
I like...
It might be for Xray or Aerial film or custom made for a specific film cut. Jobo used to make them to order.
I think you had to send them a few sheets so they could make the inserts customized to...
Hi Guys,
Great news!! Around 15 boxes made it into an earlier shipping container. We should be receiving them on Monday or Tuesday.
The rest should come in a few weeks. While its not enough...
Regarding Gamma Techs LF film output, they are using a CRT film recorder not an LVT.
Its an entirely different beast with very different quality output. CRTs suffer from edge to edge sharpness...
Hi Guys,
Status update on the DP100 5x6 order.
I have spoken a number of times with our US distributor, they have indicated that the film has been in the process of being cut and boxed.
We are...
Hi Guys,
I have been in contact with most of the people who have expressed interest in this special order.
We now have enough paid orders to proceed. I will be placing the order with Ilford on...
Hi Guys,
Looks like we have met the minimum required to place the order!!!
I will be contacting everyone who has asked to be part of this for their shipping and payment info.
You can also...
We now have 9 boxes accounted for, 1 more to go! If there is anyone on the fence about ordering, we only need one box to place the order.
Also just received the new 2012 ULF price list. Ilford...
Hi Guys,
My company is handling the 5x7 Delta special order.
We are close to the minimum needed to place it. Currently we have 6 boxes accounted for, we need another 4 to place it (we can order...
I shoot everything from 35mm, 645, 4x5, 5x7, 8x10 if i ever get one and my 12x20 Korona (my favorite format).
I use Kodak, Fuji and Ilford Color and B&W film which i process in my Jobo ATL 2300....
I drum scan them and output them on my LVT Rhino to 8x10 C41 or B&W film.
It takes a lot longer then the traditional interneg but it gives me the chance to make some corrections.
Especially if...
LTI in NYC has a great traditional color darkroom department.
They can do everything up to mural from 8x10s. They also do traditional contact sheets from any size film, color or B&W.
They even do...
Would be mine to except i did it with my 12x20 Korona! That required a bunch of Tylenol and an ice pack.
I love the phrase "Live and learn”. To learn, hopefully you live :D
I also did the same...
Hi Martin,
Really nice app!
Something that might enhance it, for it to roll over to the next item and start it automatically.
In the preferences, you can put an offset that user defines for the...
Hi Asher,
Me too, they’re like my children. This is sad but ive named them all, this is a holdover from my pre press days when we named everything.
The tech is a great guy, he lives so close that...
The only time i use a UV filter is if im high up ie. top of a mountain.
Its cuts the blue enough to make it worth it. Other then that, my lenses do not have a filter attached unless i need it for...
Hi Asher,
Yes, im running 2 drum scanners. An Aztek Premier and a Howtek 7500 with DPL Pro on both.
I never plan to give them up, one of those over my dead body situations :D
Ive been scanning a...
For anyone that needs a copy, i have posted a PDF on my site.
When i went to the Photo Expo in NYC i spoke with a FujiFilm USA representative.
He was at the tiny little film booth with the nice new Fuji folder camera.
I asked him about 8x10 film and he said...
The orange mask is a dye in the C41 emulsion. IIRC it was still there, but this mistake was a while back.
I didn’t print the negs i accidentally developed, just drum scanned them.
It came out ok,...
What Dan said, the bleach in both C41 and E6 will remove all of the silver.
But if you want to have clear film to test emulsion coating with, that might not be a bad way to go.
That’s pretty good considering, ive that done accidentally myself a few times when i forgot to label my film holders.
Surprisingly the results are usable when scanned, just don’t try it the other...
The 480 APO Nikkor covers my 12x20 Korona nicely with plenty of room for movements.
I haven’t tried it wide open but around F22/32 it covers with enough room for a good 2-4” of rise.
Depends on the type of print and how bad the crease is.
If the paper white is showing through, then i would reprint.
If its not, then a heat press might make it less noticeable. You could always...
We received most everything last week and the rest today. It will be on the fedex truck tomorrow.
From my conversations with our Ilford US distributor, all HP5 came in and went out first.
FP4 came...
LTI in NYC is an amazing lab. I use them for all of my E6, C41 and B&W.
Everything is clean and fast. All in D&D Refremas. Their traditional printers are fantastic, my contacts look great.
The...
I bought the book as soon as it came out, read it cover to cover many times.
Well worth every single penny. Nothing like this has ever been produced.
The pictures alone are worth the price and the...
Wow! Really amazing work.
Ive been thinking about using an Arduino for a shutter timer (connect to a cable release somehow?) and for an enlarger timer for a while.
But ive never been good at...
