Apologies Oren, I didn’t see this thread before posting mine.
I think of lfpf as a great source of knowledge. Price of products is in my opinion a great piece of information.

Beautiful! What lens did you use?
I use it without a lid without problems. As Vaughn says, if it spills it’s because you used too much liquid.
Wonderful image Dave. I bet it looks even better in real life. Now, your digitizing method got me all curious, why the stitching? The D800 already makes big files...
Your post in another thread is what prompted me to ask the question. Maybe a replacement of the hood...?
I have used the one dollar eyeglasses and they work fine. The problem is looking up to talk to whoever I am photographing and going back to the ground glass. I feel like my head is going to explode...
Age has taken its toll on me. I can't focus on the ground glass of my Graflex RB45 ever since I made the huge mistake of getting reading glasses.
All I would need is a folding loupe as in Hasselblad...
My favorite focal length for traveling is 28mm. The guy I got it from happened to be selling one too. I might look into getting the 40mm but the truth is, I took a Nikon F80 with a 28mm and a 50mm...
We visited New York a couple weeks ago and I bought a Contax G1 while I was there. Here's a test with it.

Recent scan of some film I got back from the lab. I'm trying Negative Lab Pro with the Epson V700.
This must be Fuji Superia 100 shot with the Nikon F4s and a 28mm Nikkor

Holy crap! Amazing.
Always nice to see your work Igor.

Very beautiful Iga. Love the simplicity.
Thanks Randy. There is a lot of negotiation before any photo is taken. He wasn't too excited about the whole thing. Look at his left hand in this one:

Great work everyone!
Here's testing the new Graflex RB 4x5. New camera, with new film holders and finally developed with my recently acquired Jobo 3010. The shutter seems accurate enough and no...

Amazing series. Would love to see them printed at an exhibition. What time of day did you shoot? The light is just perfect.
Amazing scans. I usually shoot Superia with my F4 and have nightmares with my current scanner (V700).
These are amazing. A Leica with a 50mm... I bet you had a few people look at you with a weird face.
You already know what I think of this ;-)
Keep it coming.
I still remember when that grain was all I was trying to get rid of. Now, I cannot stop looking at its perfect distribution and pattern. Software cannot replicate that grain still.
Could not help to laugh. It sure sounds like you had a very Chaplinesque day.
Great! Thanks for the info. I will explain to my friend.
I don't know much about glass negatives so I was surprised to see a set of 13x18 glass negatives from the 1920s at my friends' house in which the emulsion was peeling off in one piece. The emulsion...
Remember when having this sort of problem meant trashing the negative? A screw up this big means nothing nowadays!
When you leave film in the tank for months. I believe this must be fungus or mold. It won't happen again.

I've had film in the tank for months waiting to be processed and of course it didn't come out as you'd expect. This one however sat in the film holder collecting dust like crazy. When it went into...

I'll give that a look el french, thanks!
Here's what I have so far. Still figuring out how to continue with the design. This is just a sketch I made for Pere. The idea is to use old bag magazine...
Thank you Pere, lots of very good information. I had no idea 3D printers were that cheap. I might have to reconsider that option. The question is if ABS is light safe.
Also, POM sounds a lot easier...
Hola Pere,
I think I am leaning more towards wood carving with a CNC machine. As you say, 3D printing will probably give more professional results but it might also be more complicated and...
It has been several months that I have unsuccessfully tried to find slotted 4x5 Graflex film holders for the RB. Until it hit me I could probably copy one in a simple 3D design software. After all it...
Since we live in the same city I can offer to scan it for you. You know how prints get left inside the scanner so many times... That would be a shame... For you 😁😁😁😁
Probably one of the best images I've seen in this forum.

Taken with a wooden box diy 5x7 camera that I made to fit a Schneider Super Angulon 75mm.
Not completely happy with its results. It's probably too wide for my taste and the lack of rise makes me...
