Hi folks,
I have used Fuji HRU x-ray film in Rodinal (R09) 1:200 for 11 minutes at 20 degrees C with good results. However, I ran out of R09 and have a bottle of Ilfotec DDX handy. Does anybody...
The Ian Ruhter video is more than just another wet-plate video. It is a work of art.
Welcome Hubert. Looking forward to seeing your work.
Regards,
George (from Ireland).
Steven, that sounds great. I’ll get some metal sheets cut to size and give it a go.
Cheers
George
Thank you for that information, Steven. I really appreciate it.
I'll research using roentgen and see what's out there.

That's interesting to hear, Steven.
I live in Ireland and may need to buy from Custom Bellows for a 10x12 inch Field camera I've just received. Although I had to pay VAT on this of around €100...
The Walker Titan XL 4x5 is my camera of choice. Very stable, solid as a rock and not too heavy it offers a lot of movement on the front standard while the fixed back standard promotes parallelism...
In flagrante was the first of his works to be published, if memory serves me. Shot on 5x4, it is a superb record of working class life in the north of England in the 1970s. RIP.
Amazingly detailed image, Gabe!
Very nice work with that 75mm, Antonio.
Bravo.
I agree with all that you have said, Paul. It’s a hard lesson we have had to learn about the impermanence of the World Wide Web.
Garrett et al, I'm so sorry to hear that collodion website is no more. I know how you feel. As an ordinary member I contributed quite a bit to the pinhole website f295.org until it folded a number of...
Wow! That's a really impressive image, Corran.
As nice as I've seen in ages.
Hi there Xifoideus and welcome to the forum!
Welcome Tommy, I live in Clare. I shoot mostly 6x6 Hasselblad, 5x4 pinhole (various cameras) and a 5x4 Walker XL. I print my own black & white scan to web. Great to hear another LF user from Ireland...
Hi there and welcome to LFF! There are a good few Large Format photographers from Europe on this site. Looking forward to seeing some of your work.

What a fine story to go with a strong portrait. Excellent work, Richard.

Welcome to the forum, Sean!
Great to see another Irish man on here.

George.
Lovely work, Nicolas. Your daughter is very cute.
You should be very pleased with this portrait, Toby. It is fantastic.
Fantastic image, Alex!
Great work, Damian. I particularly enjoyed the audio descriptions that accompany each portrait. They add so much to the relevance and richness of the project. Great stuff.
George.
Excellent work, Alex.
This is a very beautiful image. I am glad I took the time to view it large. Well done.
Couple of things.
1. Make sure you process at 20 degrees C or 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. I don't invert the tank at all. Just swirl very gently at the start, the Middle and again a few minutes near...
Thanks for sharing this video.
Kenro inspires most of us, as much by his sense of peace as by his fantastic sense of vision.
Hear ! Hear !
Excellent image, Philip.
Looks like you have found a different genre to counteract the discipline required for still life.
I hope you enjoy your landscapes from now on.
Lovely result, James. The blurring of tree movement at the left is fantastic.
Well, thank you so much for your nice compliment! I hope that you do get a pinhole camera. It's great fun. 😊
Glad you like it, Barry. 😄
Thank you, Andrej.
Excelent George. I also use a pinhole camera and Fomapan will be my next film.
I have two questions, as a matter of curiosity:
1. How did you get the 50mm for a 0.3mm hole? I order a plate with...
This image was taken near Doolin, Co. Clare on the West Coast of Ireland a couple of months ago.
I used my homemade 4x5 pinhole camera which is 45mm focal length, 0.3mm diameter pinhole. Developed...
