    I have a nice 5x7 Gunlach Korona, but it has a funky, small lens board that is not very large and can't accommodate newer lenses. I will probably be stuck with the Kodak 207mm and 121mm wide lenses....

    I use Photographer's Formulary Liquidol at 1:3 dilution, 1:30, 72F and it tames the contrast quite well. You get a very warm toned paper negative that is relatively lower in contrast than straight...

    Yes, it's probably not ideal for making portraits on 8x10, but it is what I have and will have to make do for now.

    Seeing as this lens is relatively wide angle for 8x10, how close to the subject...

    Place a drop or two of 95% alcohol on the retaining ring threads and give it a few minutes to penetrate. This sometimes helps loosen the rings...

    Just blew 4 sheets of 8x10 because I forgot to check the focus AFTER stopping down while using an antique convertible lens with a single element.

    It's all so slightly fuzzy; bleech!
