Johnmsanderson - That first one of the jetty/pier is beautiful... I love it... The second image lacks impact, though I must say I am jealous of the 4x10 images! Biggest color film panoramic image around... Resolution envy..

thanks alex. these were the first two I did on 4x10 to test the effectiveness of the split dark slide. i'm psyched about the format. i was originally doing stitched 4x5s to achieve the look, but that doesn't work so well in every scenario, especially with quickly changing light. i am mostly going to apply the format to my Railroad Landscape Series which it was originally intended.
