Funny, I saw the first one and immediately detected a touch of Paul Strand... But it's an excellent, excellent image that stands apart and on its own.

    And Emil, wonderful as always!

Mark, don't you mean a touch of Alfred Stieglitz (at Lake George)?

I told them to just get up there and be however they want to be.
Then we did solo plates. One of them couldn't decide whether she wanted to smile and changed her mind in the middle of the exposure....a mere 2s
It came out all wonky so I rubbed it off the glass and remade the plate.
    It's always weird doing that....

This is an image I'm still working with. For what ever reason I'm focusing on the phone and less on the man in the image, not sure why...Click image for larger version.

As usual a portrait of a dog from me. I know, everyones favorite...

I need more shimmering highlights to really set the soft focus off. Maybe I'll spray her with water today .

    Speed Graphic
    4x5 Kodak Portra 400 (converted to b&w)
Wollensak Verito Soft Focus 9" @f/4
    1/250 or so

Developed in a BTZS tube with the Rollei / Compard digibase c-41 kit.
