This is not my best, but is my first 8x10, with an Old Lady: Kodak 2D 8x10 (Symmar-S 210mm - Fomapan100)

Still beautiful, these old cameras are elegant things.

Here is one I shot a few days back, it started raining pretty hard, my wife was holding the umbrella over the camera while i tried to get the shot, 4x5 field camera, 210mm fujinon W, ilford delta 100.

It' a good shot comp works well , maybe not your best?? But your standards are high . Cheers Gary

Here are a couple from the 8x10 this fall. The first one is on Velvia 50 using a Fuji 300 F5.6. It was taken on the Ontonagon River in the Upper Peninsula. The second one in on E100G using a Nikkor 450 F9. It was taken at Seney Wildlife Refuge, also in the UP. I just printed both of these at 35x45. Booth lenses are just sharp as a tack, although I suppose at that size, most lenses would be sharp. Jim

thanks very much, it was taken in cherokee NC, located on 441 (mountain road between cherokee and gatlinburg) yes it was very rainy and very cold, my wife and I got soaked but the camera stayed nice and dry

Nice tones on this ,I like wintery scenes , they are something different for me as it is effectively almost summer nine months of the year here Cheers Gary

hi, yes it was f45, i was having a having a hard time getting those tree limbs in the foreground sharp, the upper limps sort of jutted out toward me, i tried to do a verticle shot but it wouldnt work, not with the 210 anyway.

Nice shot! I love the boards on the cabin, they're huge.
Hope you did something nice for your wife after she stood out in the rain getting soaked while you got the shot.
