It can be helpful to go back over older images and re-do some of them. It's remarkable how things can appear, once we've had a chance to forget all about our original "pre-visualization" - and with 5 more years of experience.
Also, the same image can be either dull or exciting, depending on print size: this one needs to be a bit large, because the content, so to speak, is in the details. Using the "right" method of sharpening is critical too. It has taken 5 years to learn more about that too.![]()
