14 Minute exposure on Delta 100 4X5 processed in Rodinal.
    90mm Super Angulon lens.
There's a two-stop ND grad filter over the top half in an attempt to get a stronger reflection from the water.

i think it would be indecent exposure

    Jehu,
Nice shot. Is the apparent vignetting in the upper corners actually the limits of light from Boulder City/Las Vegas sky glow? I left the area just as the new bridge was under way - it appears awesome!

From an area called Sanddrif in the Cederberg, about 3 hours from Cape town. It was so cold i had to carry the tripod back to the car with the legs extended because my fingers wouldn't work the leg locks anymore...

Shot on velvia 100, with an ebony SV45ti and Nikkor SW 75mm with some kind of ND grad attached, can't remember which though.

Since it has been some years since I last wrote an action, this one came from the web and no rights are being violated here!

Michael- Hey if you are going to virtual frame them, dont you think they need a virtual mat too?

Wonderful colors under that dark, cloudy sky! I agree that the story to go with it is great :-)

Thanks civich. The lights of Las Vegas were pretty strong. This was during a full moon rising (camera left-rear). The stars were barely visible that night but the film didn't pick them up at all. The bridge span is complete. I think opening is still scheduled for some time later this year.
