Thanks, no apology needed, these reports are appropriate and appreciated. For the record, I am seeing it again too now.

I find that earlier in the morning (EST in USA) and later in the evening tend to work best for my access. Otherwise, it may or may not stall-out attempting to load.

It must be contagious. Photrio started to have even worse slowdowns starting this evening. They seemed unaffected until now.

    What can it all mean?

Most likely means the site(s) are being hammered by AI bots scraping the content to train their knowledge base (i.e., stealing).

Even DuckDuckGo is being pummeled right now.

These greedy bastards are destroying the Internet.

Yeah, it has been really hit-n-miss, for me, over the past couple of weeks. At times, the site flies along as if I was running the whole thing locally (!), other times I could go make a cup of coffee while I'm waiting for pages to load, then there are the time when my browser refreshes with a "site can't be reached" message. I've tried to isolate days and/or times, but it seems very random. For example, right this very minute the site is running very sluggish for me.

And then they will direct us in the way they want us to go.

I've never experienced a slowdown with Photrio. This site, on the other hand, is like molasses 60% of the time these days. Maybe it's time to spend a few dollars on 21st century software?
