    Old Alder

    Looks like this old Alder tree may have lost some limbs in the past and grown back. Bit too tight on the right but bushes made it tricky.

    5x4 Tachihara, 150mm Nikkor-W with orange filter, 1/8s at f22, Ilford FP4 in 1:25 Rodinal, 8 mins rotary.

    I love gnarled old trees - they have a presence.

    Still pretty new with large format, so I'm always really pleased when a shot turns out this close to how I intended.

    4x5 Wista SP, Fujinon W 180mm, FPP Mummy 400
