Old Alder
Looks like this old Alder tree may have lost some limbs in the past and grown back. Bit too tight on the right but bushes made it tricky.
5x4 Tachihara, 150mm Nikkor-W with orange filter, 1/8s at f22, Ilford FP4 in 1:25 Rodinal, 8 mins rotary.

I love gnarled old trees - they have a presence.

This is at Cape Spear in Newfoundland. Right general region, but a little farther out!
