Bryan that is great. IMO one of your better images in recent times. The layering of the ridges is nice and horizontal composition is good. I might have rendered the more distant ridges with lighter tones, personal choice only.

Thanks chassis. I have been tending towards darker rendering lately, but the shadow detail is there on the neg so might have to experiment some more.

Very nice Graham. That would be worth printing large.

With the North Cascades Highway closed for the winter I could take a picture from the Gorge Creek bridge without traffic vibrations. There are so many details flattened onto the print that it becomes abstract. TriX 4x5 film, 210 mm lens, yellow #8 filter, scanned from this morning's print.

Looks great Pali. A good choice of material for the subject.

    Re: Large Format Landscapes

Thank you Chassis! I had never scanned this because I shot a 8x10 Velvia 50 at the same scene. However, I now think that this version is better because it has more dramatic clouds vs. the Velvia version I also captured.
