Shot on FP4 with a #25 red filter, using my 8X10 Deardorff w/240 mm Symmar-S lens. IIRC it was about 1 second exposure at F45.5
    Very nice image!

Yep, that is very nice - wish I had the funds for an 8X10 Deardorff...and a 240mm...and a sheet of FP4...and a red filter...

Silver Falls, Oregon, June 28, 2017. Photographed on 8X10 Ilford HP5+, one second at f45, processed in Rodinal 1:100 for one hour, minimal agitation. I don't typically like or use "stand" development for the fact that (especially with roll film) it introduces more problems than it solves. But in this case, it was useful: this sheet could have used another stop of exposure - the shadow areas were weak (I had another sheet, which got N processing in D76 and proved thin). I didn't want to do a standard N+1 development, since that would tend to send the water highlights sailing off into unprintability, so I decided to take a chance on stand processing. In this case it worked nicely.

This is a good lesson for me. I would have walked right past this, but it works very nicely.
