    Bryan, that is a nice shot. I think the detail is right. The swirl almost looks like the blue holes along the Flint. Was this taken in N GA?

    Thanks Marty. Yep this was along Amicalola Creek, downstream of the falls. Going back there actually in a few minutes to try some other ideas actually.

    This one works much better for me if I scroll down enough to crop out the sky.

    Very nice detail and color. You timed the exposure very well to retain some detail in the falls.

    Nice lead-in from the rocks in the lower left.

    Arkasha - that actually looks cold. So many winter scenes do not.

    The lovely thing about LF photography, particularly monrail, is the ability to not only effect perspective but also, and more importantly, the vanishing point.

    Arkasha, I assume that's -30*C (-22*F). Either way, it's mighty cold. Did you take any precautions to warm up the shutter before exposure? Beautiful image.
