A frozen waterfall. This was taken with a Calumet 4x5 using a borrowed 135mm lens; I think it was a Kodak lens. It was taken in 1977, must have been ektachrome. I had it scanned last week.

I'm very new to the LF side of Photography. I have a bit of dust spots to deal with but for the most part I'm happy with it. Anyway photo taken in the Rio Grande gorge outside Taos NM right before Thanksgiving. Taken with a Chamonix 045N2 using a Nikkor SW 90mm f4.5, Fuji Velvia 100. Probably around f11 or 16. I know I should be writing down that stuff but it was too dang cold out.
Nice. I can recommend exif4film app. Makes easy to note the data.

BTW. If any of you head to Monument Valley and find two cable releases or one in 23 Skidoo in the Panament Range of Death Valley, they are mine.
    Regards

A hard photograph to resist taking.
Nothing beats a great piece of glass!

I leave the digital work for the urologists and proctologists.

Tower of Babel - Garden of the Gods

I shot this yesterday morning at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, CO.

This represents two firsts for me, one being I used Pyrocat MC for the first time (I think I'm going to REALLY like it!) and second, I used rotary processing with a Jobo tank and a motor base. As for the rotory processing, I seem to be getting some problems at the edges of the film where they are next to the reel. I'm not sure if I'll keep using it, or go back to trays.

Zone VI 4x5 Camera, Fujinon W 125mm F5.6 lens, Foma 200, Pyrocat MC (8.5 min)
