It's the Canyon Overlook trail in Zion.

So, here are a few images taken on a recent trip to the southwest. As you will notice this group of images is of Factory Butte near Hanksville, Utah. I have been stopping by this feature for years and generally have had little luck. This past winter I finally had some nice light and clouds. On two consecutive mornings, the light and clouds just kept on changing. So here are a few of the shots from the two mornings. All taken on an ebony 8x10 using Fuji Provia or Velvia.
Nice. Where exactly is Factory Butte? I've looked on maps off and on ever since I saw this image by William Clift back in the seventies.

I can't show it as it was shot on 35mm Kodachrome but there's a very similar cut stream running down into the Colorado on bright angel trail in the Grand Canyon, I suppose there's probably a bunch that look the same lol.

About halfway between Capitol Reef and Goblin Valley. I have just seen it from a disatace from Hwy 24.
