    Eight 16x20 plates. 4 days. Chamonix camera and Dallmeyer 21x25 RR. My friend/assistant went a little heavy on the sepia tone on his phone.

    Thank you, Jonathan. I have to say, the challenge of a montage is hitting the tones and seams with a semblance of continuity. I've never tried it before. For sure a smaller group of plates forming a larger is tougher than a single large plate, at least based on my limited experience (over 4 days). Having said that, a single large plate sure has visual impact -- nothing to argue there. (and tough to do!) Ed

    For what it's worth, you succeeded admirably. I can't even begin to imagine the logistics and effort of such an undertaking, but in this case it looks to be well worth it.

    The next question is, how do you mount them all?
