I did something stupid and I'm hoping I could get some tech support. I recently acquired a 1920's Agfa camera stand. In order to get it through my studio door I had to take off the front wheel assembly. What I didn't realize was that everything was tensioned together and the camera platform came off.
I've got the frame back together but am now trying to figure out how to correctly get the camera platform back on the rails and threaded with the rack/gears that raise and lower the platform. This is the kind of stand I have (below). I would welcome suggestions.
I swear if it ever has to leave my studio I'm just going to carve a larger door frame.
