Pretty nice! I admit, I rather envy your ability and resources to fabricate something like this. Once you get it down pat, this might make for a nice little aftermarket sales phenom.

looking forward to seeing the result!!!
I own one made for Toyo 8x10 cameras. The problem, for me, is not being able to use a loupe magnifier. The hood's viewer does magnify somewhat, but it's nowhere near as affective as a good strong loupe. Super critical focus is an issue. My fantasy would be the same reflex hood, but with an additional built-in movable magnifier that can be positioned anywhere over the ground glass via an arm that is operated from the outside of the hood. The hood would have a slot on the side that facilitates the arm. I'd move the magnifier over to the subject's eyes, for example, when doing portraiture.
I'm experimenting in the store with magnifying eyeglasses, to use with the Sinar hoods. It seems promising

Am in the process of starting to fabricate a reflex viewing hood for my whole plate camera. Anyone have any suggestions on sources of front surfaced mirrors, especially sources who will custom cut them?
There's a guy on Ebay that custom cuts first surface mirrors for a reasonable price

He made an exact replacement for my 4x5 Sinar Reflex Viewer (glass was smashed) and his work is perfect Cost about $30
